Janice K. Mahon is Senior Vice President of Technology Commercialization and General Manager, Commercial Sales Business. Ms. Mahon joined Universal Display Corporation in early 1997, and today is responsible for the manufacture, quality assurance and distribution of the Company’s line of high-performance PHOLED products sold to the world’s leading OLED display and lighting manufacturers.

Ms. Mahon has spent much of her career helping to build businesses focused on novel, energy-savings technologies. From 1992 to 1996, Ms. Mahon was V.P. of SAGE Electrochromics, Inc., a thin-film electrochromic technology company for energy-saving windows. From 1984 to 1989, Ms. Mahon was a V.P. and General Manager for Chronar Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of amorphous silicon photovoltaic (PV) panels, where she was responsible for the design, construction and startup of their PV manufacturing plants in the U.S, Europe and Asia, and then for the commercialization of a line of PV panel products for OEM markets. Prior to that, Ms. Mahon worked as Senior Engineer for the Industrial Chemicals Division of FMC Corporation.

Ms. Mahon received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1979, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University in 1984. Ms. Mahon was a member of the Technical Council of the FlexTech Alliance from 1997 through 2010, and a member of its Governing Board from 2008 through 2010. Ms. Mahon served as a member of the Board of Directors and Marketing Committee Chairperson of the OLED Association from 2009 to 2013. Ms. Mahon is a member of the board of directors of UDC Ireland and OM2 (UDC wholly-owned subsidiaries).
